I’m excited to announce that we’re bringing back the color guard for our Marching Rams in the 26-27 school year! We’re starting fresh and looking for students who want to be part of this group.
What is Color Guard?
Color guard is the part of marching band that adds the visual performance element. While the band plays, color guard members perform choreographed routines using flags, rifles, and sabres. They dance and move with the music to create a complete show that combines sound and visual effects.
If you’ve watched a marching band performance and noticed the performers with colorful flags spinning and tossing equipment, that’s color guard. It takes practice and dedication, but it’s also a lot of fun. You’ll learn new skills, perform at games and competitions, and be part of a team.

You don’t need any prior experience—just a willingness to work hard and learn. We’ll teach you everything you need to know. More information about tryouts and practice schedules will be coming soon. In the meantime, sign up for the course Eurythmics when completing your registration for next year!
