Happy Monday!
There is A LOT coming up in the next three weeks for the Marching Rams! Please take the time to review the following information so that the band can operate at peak performance as we near the end of the marching season:
- Senior Night: This Friday is Senior Night at the home game vs. Evans HS. Senior Night is an event that recognizes senior band, cheerleaders, dancers, and football players for their contributions to their teams and organizations over their time at Lake Mary HS.
- The presentation for this event happens the hour before the football game, so seniors and senior parents/guardians should be on the lookout for the evening’s itinerary. I will share it once I have access to that info.
- Senior Night also allows senior band members to participate in a band tradition of delivering senior speeches. This will happen after continuity practice, and all marching band students will attend. This means the “free time” between rehearsal and call time will require students to remain in the band room. The itinerary for Friday is listed below:
-
- Continuity Rehearsal: 2:45-3:45 PM
- Senior Speeches: 4-5 PM
- Dinner: 5-5:30 PM
- Call Time: 5:30 PM
- Inspection: 6:oo-6:15 PM
- March over: 6:30 PM
-
